Three easy steps to follow when the power comes back on

How can I help prevent power outages?

Keeping trees and vegetation trimmed to at least 5m away from powerlines will help prevent outages caused by fallen branches. For your safety, make sure you get an approved professional to do it for you.

Reporting a power outage also helps us fix the issue and restore power. To report a power outage, you can call our 24/7 fault line on 13 23 51. In case of a life-threatening emergency, you should call 000 instead.

And remember, if you ever come across a fallen powerline – stay at least 10 metres away and call on us on 13 23 51.
