Solar Smoothing is a service for business solar installations above 30 kVa - helping to reduce some of the upfront costs required to connect to the energy saving benefits of solar.

Using our Community Battery as a smoothing battery replaces the capital outlay required to install and operate your own dedicated, smoothing battery as part of the solar installation process.

Solar Smoothing is now available to Broome & Derby businesses.

Solar smoothing is a simple service fee based on your solar inverter size

Charged at 37.3100 cents per kVa of solar inverter capacity, per day and charged monthly/bi-monthly (dependent on your billing cycle).

  • Tenants with leasing or ownership constraints - if a tenant doesn’t think they’re going to be in the property for as long as useful life of the onsite smoothing battery, Solar Smoothing offers a way to improve the payback period.
